A noodles story

Ingredients :

  1. Plain Noodles - 1 packet
  2. Onion - 1 Sliced
  3. Capsicum - 1 Sliced
  4. Cabbage - 1 Shredded
  5. Carrot - 1 Sliced
  6. Beans - 1/2 cup Chopped
  7. Soya Sauce - 2 tbsp
  8. Vinegar - 1 tbsp
  9. Chili Sauce- 1 tbsp
  10. Pepper Powder - 1/4 tsp
  11. Oil - 2 tbsp
  12. Salt to taste.
Preparation Method :

  • Boil Noodles in enough water and do not over cook.
  • Strain the Noodles in cold water 2-3 times and drain water and set aside.
  • Add few drops of oil to the noodles to avoid sticking.
  • Heat oil in a wok and add sliced onions and stir fry for, add all other vegetables and stir fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add salt and pepper and mix well. Now add boiled noodles and mix well.
  • Add vinegar, chili sauce and soya sauce and stir fry for a minute.
  • Serve it hot.
  • And this is the story of vegetable noodles.

Rajma (Red kidney beans)

Ingredients :

  1. Red kidney beans - 2 cups
  2. Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
  3. Onions - 1 chopped
  4. Garlic cloves - 5 chopped
  5. Ginger - 1 inch chopped
  6. Green chillies - 3 chopped
  7. Tomatoes - 3 chopped
  8. Corainder powder - 1/2 tsp
  9. Red chili powder - 1 tsp
  10. Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  11. Oil- 2 tbsp
  12. Salt to taste.
  13. Handful Coriander leaves
Preparation Method :
  • Soak red kidney beans overnight.
  • Wash and pressure cook and Keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add ginger, garlic and green chillies. Fry until they turn brown.
  • Add onions and tomatoes.
  • Add salt, turmeric powder and mix well.
  • Add the boiled red kidney beans, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala and stir.
  • Cook until a thick gravy is formed.
  • Garnish rajma with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with chapatis or parotas or rice.
